Discovery Montessori Academics

The Montessori curriculum fosters independence, curiosity, and hands-on learning at every stage of development.

Practical Life, Sensorial, Art, and Music

Through the use of everyday household items, children develop independence and strengthen their attention span. Sensorial lessons provide hands-on experiences that engage the senses, allowing children to explore and understand the world around them.

Our Art curriculum introduces students to various techniques, encouraging them to create their own masterpieces. They explore different artistic elements and study renowned artists to inspire their creativity.

Music appreciation is a central focus of our Music curriculum. Younger students learn proper vocal techniques, experiment with real instruments, develop rhythm skills, and perform a musical program for parents. Older students explore diverse musical genres, learn note reading, participate in musical performances, and play more advanced instruments.

Language, Math, Geography, and Science

Children's House: Each core subject is taught using a hands-on approach, allowing children to explore concepts through Montessori materials. Lessons are tailored to each child's individual academic level, fostering a personalized learning experience.

Elementary Class: Our elementary program integrates the Montessori Method with a rigorous, advanced curriculum. The learning environment encourages hands-on exploration of new concepts and reinforces understanding through a combination of curricula, including:

  • A Beka for Language, Composition, Geography, and Science

  • Handwriting Without Tears for writing development

  • Saxon Math for a structured approach to mathematics

This blended approach ensures a well-rounded and comprehensive education.
